Batmale Hall Modernization
City College of San Francisco

Batmale Hall is a 9 - story classroom and office building in the heart of the CCSF community college main campus. Our Batmale Hall projects include several major interior renovations, extensive re-roofing, multi-level plaza waterproofing repairs, replacement of exterior doors and storefront, replacement of the fire alarm mechanical system, as well as HVAC upgrades to improve ventilation and temperature controls throughout.

The highlight of the project is the building's new Academic Computing and Resource Center, which features a large central concourse area and three separate computer labs, each with glazed walls to provide visual access between spaces. The new reception desk provides a central station for user sign-in and assistance, as well as monitoring of the center. Adjoining the reception desk, new staff work areas, the server room and a conference room are provided. Computer classrooms feature pull-down screens and mounted LED projectors for media-rich teaching. A high-tech power pole with adjustable lighting and standing desk surface provides quick, drop-in Internet access for laptop users.
