Chad Hamilton, AIA, LEED AP Chad Hamilton co-founded the firm of Hamilton + Aitken Architects in 1992. As the firm has matured, it has become increasingly involved in the design of educational projects, from pre-school child development centers to University projects. As principal, he focuses on ensuring that client needs are expressed and understood by the design team, and that the team develops a design that responds to those needs. Chad currently serves as a member of the Division of the State Architect Advisory Board. Prior to forming HA Architects, he was a senior project designer at Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz in San Francisco.
Chad is a LEED Accredited Professional, dedicated to incorporating sustainable features into H+A designs. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from UCLA, and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University.
